AI Supplement Dispenser and App · Final Year Major Project, NCAD

• Designed a countertop liquid supplement dispenser with a nine-slot RFID cartridge carousel and companion app that tailors daily dosing from phone and smartwatch data and flags drug interactions.
• Grounded the brief in primary research: interviews with a practising pharmacist (MPSI) and the supplement brand Sisterly, which drove the interaction-warning feature.
• Owned every stage solo: Fusion 360 carousel and cartridge geometry, gravity-fed fluid path, 3D printed functional prototype, KeyShot renders, brand identity and business model.

Assistive Door Alert · NCAD

• Co-designed a door alert device with and for a named hearing impaired user, working directly with her from initial research through to a working prototype she could use in her home.

Festival Drinks Experience · Industry brief set by Dolmen, NCAD

• Designed the complete festival slushie experience for a live studio brief: recyclable packaging that doubles as a carry kit the user assembles at their tent, plus brand identity, rewards system and merchandise.
• Produced dimensioned technical layout drawings of the service trailer and mapped the full user journey and task analysis. Rated best in class by the brief setters.

Products That Last · NCAD

• Research at recycling centres found vacuums are discarded because motors burn out from uncleaned filters; designed a vacuum that builds attachment to its own maintenance, referencing the Tamagotchi and Henry Hoover.

Self-employed, Dublin

• Designed and built the website for Whitestown Dining Club, a hospitality business running three Airbnb properties and ticketed dining events, rebuilding it off Squarespace onto a modern static stack.
• Specified and implemented Stripe event ticketing and a Supabase admin panel so the client can manage events and bookings without a developer.

• Front of house in a busy city centre bar alongside full-time study: high-volume service, cash handling and customer care. Previously warehouse operative, O’Malleys Fruit & Veg, summer 2024.
